    My 318 has always ran rich with this carb. Can anybody simplify my choice of adjustment kits? I get replacing the rods and such, but do I have to pull the existing kit out to identify where I am starting from?     air filter packing

    I have a fixed triangle steel mesh air filter but no insert. There was foam padding shoved in it at one time. It looked like regular yellow foam padding. Any suggestions or type of foam pad I should put in there? I've seen ss wool in some, but I dont like the thought of decomposing metal...
