    hello, I might be an idiot. I traded for a new cam and lifters a long while ago for my 383. Fired it up and I have a lot of chatter and no oil pressure. It has a lot of oil moving inside the engine. Looks like the guy I traded with sent me ford lifters which are too small for the bore hole. So...

    Which direction is park on a 727 ? The front of the car or to The rear?

    Driveshaft too long

    I put a 383/727 in a 340 roadrunner 1971. The driveshaft is 11 inches too long. Is that because it's a small block shaft? Do I need a big block shaft? It's a HD 727
