Looking at the site to attach throttle cable and realizing it’s not correct. I remember on one other carburetor when I ordered they asked me if I wanted it set up for Mopar or what brand. Is there a way to make this one work or do I need to change something? I do have throttle linkage for...
I’ve tried twice now with two failures. The first time I ordered Moog U joints they were in correct because the company selling them had them listed wrong in their catalog. They returned these no problem. They looked up and found the second set of Moog which are Moog #317. Those arrived and no...
383 auto, no a/c(did have aftermarket a/c) power steering. Trying to figure out which belts to get. I bought two tonight. Put one on the alternator but then realized the belt for the power steering pulley lines up with the same pulley as the alternator. The alternator does have a dual pulley on...
So I ordered a set of U joints for my 69 Super Bee. Put the information in online, products came up, I ordered them through parts geek, they got here and they don’t fit. Can someone please provide me with the correct information for U joints that fit?
Just got this beautiful new radiator from cold case. I ordered an electric fan because I wanted to do away with the engine fan. Coordinated with them about which set up to use. actually through this site. Radiator is beautiful. looks great! however I go to put the fan shroud on with the electric...
I’m wondering what the best modern carburetor is for a mild built 383 HP for my 69 Super Bee? Automatic car with basically a stock stall converter and 3.55 sure grip. Running stock exhaust manifolds in 2.5 inch exhaust system.
I picked this up the other day when I was at Bob Mazolini racing. It’s a stainless steel micro oil filter. It’s a higher flow than normal oil filter and it has an easily removable filter element. Basically at each oil change you just remove the filter element clean it and then reinstall it.
I’m getting ready to purchase a new third member for my 1969 Super Bee automatic with a 383. I’m ordering through Dr. Diff and I’m at the differential section. I’m not sure which of these I’m supposed to pick. I want a sure grip. I’m thinking the choice would be the 6 helical sure trac 2?
Advice...
So I had the original 383 For my 69 bee completely rebuild a few years back. I told the builder, a well known local Guy/shop, I wanted a mild build. Something a bit more than stock. I am not well educated about cams, pistons and how these affect power and performance. I was able to get some...
I’ve been looking around sure grip differentials for my super bee. I’ve seen true track, power lock, Dana, power trax, auburn gears. This is for a street car, mild 383, 727. What’s the difference? What’s the best? What do I NEED?
Thank you.

Well, I finally got the rear end apart. It was not pretty. If you saw my other post you saw how bent the housing is. Well I got all the hardware off and the axles would not move. I had to cut the housing to release the pressure on the axles. Turns out to be a 66 8 3/4 with 5x4.5 axles. Was NOT a...
Yesterday I found a complete eight three-quarter 742 rear end. I did some research On a Mopar site which gave a lot of the specifications of each rear end 741/742/489. It said the 742 case and unit is as strong or just as good as the 489. Basically it said the pinion shaft might be a tiny bit...
I just found this rear end out at an estate sale. Trying to figure out if this case is bent or it just looks that way. Also wondering what is a good price to offer them. They’re letting stuff go pretty easily.

Building the third member for my 69 Super Bee, 727, 383 with mild build and wondering which gear ratio to go with? Original was a 3.23 sure grip. I’m wondering if a 3.55 or 3.73 would be more fun on the street and still allow me to hit the highway comfortably as well. Any input would be appreciated.
While my super bee is in the process of being restored I am using the third member in my A body rear end. I’m getting to the point to where I need to put it back in the super Bee. Is it fine to just buy another one for the super B or should I remove the original from the A body?
