    Engine ran perfect, plugged carb vac line on back no run

    First happy Easter if anyone sees this today. Title is lame I know, but really scratching my head, again. Built my 340, put on an asv2 650 carb on and fired it up yesterday.     Spacer between cam gear and thrust plate

    Does a small spacer or thrust washer go between the cam gear and thrust plate? 340 running comp cams gear and cam. Was unsure if the gear itself ran against the thrust plate when fully seated or needed a small amount of play. Thanks!
