I took the cluster out to access the push button assembly. Original problem was jammed park pawl, could'mt select N, no start! No with new selector cable, and trying book method to set correct length, but with N now selectable. no start. Per the wiring diagram, instruments should not cut any...

Briefly, the selector cable I ordered for the 78 400 block, 63 727 in B Body 63 Fury vert is 48". The one I removed is 44". If I use the longer one, will it operate normally? Thanks.
Suddenly I canot move the lever down to park. It moves to half way, and partly moves the Neutral button, but cannot be forced past to the bottom. Thus I cannot start the motor. Help!!
I have a disassembled 64K sonic ram motor, all parts except correct carbs. carb linkage missing + matching original 727. I have finally accepted advice from elders here that I cannot stuff it into my 63 Sport Fury vert.

I have a disassembled 64 413 sonic ram motor, from a K, that i plan to install in my 63 Sport Fury. I have been told that the factory bent down the sides of the engine compartment, by heating and dolly, so the ram tubes will fit. Any pictures, experience, advice? Thanks.
