    Engine Timing Question

    My service manual says 2 1/2 degrees BTDC (Pictured). I have heard others say advance the timing as far as 12 degrees. What is correct? Slant 6 225 Holley 1920 Having my first go at this tomorrow, thanks for any info. JAMES

    Slant 6 Oil Sludge! All over!

    Just pulled the valve cover to replace a gasket and saw that I have valves that are covered in oil sludge. What could cause this? Is it worth addressing? I work from home and have limited resources and knowledge. Any information would help though! Pictures attached thanks!

    White Exhaust Smoke

    Hello All, Ive got a 64' Fury with a slant 6 225 engine, three speed trans. I got the car about 6 months ago and have been noticing some white smoke out of the exhaust. I drive it to and from work two or three times a week. I do have to add oil every so often, about a quart every 4 months...
