I took it off the car, then got a daddy/husband/come here request, and it went into the corner with my headliner rods (those are easily identifiable and even the location they go because I didn’t get a demand). It’s a little over 3 feet long and I believe it came off the rear or front of my’71...
I’ve gotten a dash wiring kit from year one for my son’s 71 Charger. I have taken my dash apart, but haven’t gotten to rewiring it completely. How long is it reasonable to remove a dash and strip the old wiring out and put all the new wiring back in and put the dash back on the car? A least a...
Just bought a '71 SE for my son, and the steering wheel is one of the first things to be needing to be replaced. What are our options? Can orginals be restored, and by who and at what cost?
Would like to go with blue, but black maybe okay. It's a column shift. Tuff wheel without a crush...
Hello, I need this bolt that is missing from my project. 1971 Charger. Where can I buy one, or size and length so I can replace with a hardware store one?
passenger side, right front.
Thanks always!
Having an issue and need some help!
I followed the instructions, and got the regulator and a lot of other pieces out, but can’t seem to get the Phillips screws out of the glass bottom to get the whole thing out. The screws just turn and turn, and if I get my hand back there, I can’t hold the...

I’ve did some google searches, and I can’t seem to find these. Anyone have any ideas on where to find these?
Torsion springs, retainer clips and crank clip?
Thanks!
Anyone know where I can find these, other than Classic Industries, that doesn’t yet have them? Any other rubber bumpers needed for hideaway headlights?
YearOne sells these seat relocation brackets to allow another 2 inches of backwards travel for seats. The bucket seats are already adjustable, but I have no idea if these would be helpful or not, since my seats aren’t in yet. Is there not much legroom with the seats fully back on the tracks...
I hooked up a 12v power converter, that I use to test bulb fixtures, to my hideaway headlight motor, and all it did was buzz. I took it apart and sprayed all with electrical cleaner and then grease lubricated the worm drive, and interior sprocket. Still just buzzed.
Is 13.8 vdc, 3amp not...
I was never in the military, and I respect those who served our country or others. There is the saying... "If it moves, salute it; if it doesn't move, paint it!"
Any reason I would not want to paint these black before I clean them up and put them back in?
The car is customized, so not for...
I'm reading the "These are the 7 hottest muscle cars of 2018" article on the Hagerty forums, and in the section of the '68 - '70 Charger, they wrote that this is the "version, with its famed Coke-bottle body..." I always thought the '71-74' B-body Charger was the "Coke Bottle" shaped body. If...
For my ‘71 SE, modified! Do you think I should mount the front side speakers in the kick panels or door panels?
I think benefits in both: wiring, hole to cut, serviceability, kicked vs not.
Any experience in either?
Btw, I had the lower door panels wrapped in leather.
Thanks!!!
Hello, my trunk is too hard to open right now due to where the car is in the garage.
What is the interior measurements of the trunk lid on a 1971 Dodge Charger?
I want to install some sound deadening in the recesses.
Happy Halloween
Headliner bows were sandblasted, so no color markings on the ends. Is there a stamped identification number, or do they each measure differently? How can I identify their order?
OK, the 9/16 bolts on the inside of the trunk are the bumper, and the black long screws on the light lenses are for the lenses, but where are the attachment screws/bolts for the whole plastic assembly (argent silver, black, lenses)?
Helpful tips welcome!
Working with limited space around the...
Does anyone have a picture of the inside of the dash glove box with all the mounting screws and how the lock bar catch is installed? I need to see a picture of how the inside box is installed, and the hinge. What size screws are they, and where to get them?
Thanks!
