At long last AMD is working on full OE quarters for 73/74 Charger. Supposedly 71-74 b-body roof skins, too. In the past few years we’ve seen grilles and headlamp fillers, hoods, body to bumper seals, and bumpers. What else is really needed to start driving up the value on these cars?
I...
I'm wondering if there is a huge jump in quality from Goodmark to AMD on rear floor pans? They both look like full stampings, and much better than the Sherman patches. Thanks
I came across a thread on moparts saying that if you were upgrading to the newer style 2-bolt master, to use a booster from a 79 Cordoba or Magnum. It will fit the 71-74 firewall but is set up for a 2 bolt master so you can skip the $40 adapter. They were light on other details.
Has anyone...
I'm hearing the part numbers are different but will 73/74 satellite wagon/sedan fenders interchange? I know the bumper filler changed but from what I can see online the fender itself isn't different. Hard to see below that monster 74 front bumper though. Thanks
Hello, I am (eventually) dropping a roller 360 in my 73 Charger. I am leaning towards using exhaust manifolds over headers but the ones I have are L/R center dump. I know the 360s use a wider flange than the 318 'folds - I am assuming that a pair off a 340 will work but the prices are usually...
Ok, there seem to be two main manufacturers of poly iso-k bushings, Energy Suspension and Prothane. I just bought the ES kit but haven't installed it yet. It looks like the bushings have an integral steel support, and they are all round, although two out of eight halves are taller than the...
Hello, are the SE hoods stamped with an indent for the hood ornament, or are they just punched with holes and the ornament rides over the center ridge? I need a plain hood and can get an SE. I'm ok with welding a couple holes closed but I don't want to build up a whole strip of that factory...
Hello, I have the stunt car from the TV show Burn Notice. This is the car that was auctioned off in Coral Gables at the close of the show. It is one of only three surviving screen-used Chargers, and I believe it to be the only big block car (small block originally). The eventual plan is to...
Has anyone tried the dash pads from ABC Moparts? Here is the link http://www.abcmoparts.com/proddetail.asp?prod=D267B It seems like BE&A isn't doing them anymore?
Will 75/76 B-body bucket seat tracks fit 71-74 bucket frames and install w/o drilling the floor pan (assuming factory bucket car)? I am reading both yes and no. Thanks
Can anyone tell me how to figure out the difference between 71/72 and 73/74 upper door panels? Everyone assumes they are the same but I have found that they are not. I think the earlier ones may be shorter? I know the clip locations are different but I can't determine that several states...
I have seen replacement iso bushings offered in both solid and poly, which do you prefer? I had a 78 Monaco years ago, and I have to say it did ride nice. Of course that was on much younger rubber bushings. Am I giving up too much with the poly? The solid bushings are obviously the quickest...
I don't have $500 for a concours set of repop seat belts. The Paddock used to carry semi-custom sets that had an aircraft style buckle that were reasonable but they seem to be out of business. Where do you guys get your seat belts? I don't want to use originals because I know the webbing can...
Am I right in recalling that you can pull the dash frame without pulling the windshield? Need to do a laundry list of work and figured that would be the easier option to finish work on the bench.
