Since I have four cars/trucks with the same oil filter size I decided to buy a case of filters... 12 for $68.00. These fit my 318, Ford 460, Jeep 4.0 and my wifes new Ford Maverick.
That's it for now...
Been getting emails from Rigid Axle offering rear axle components. Anyone dealt with them?
Its odd that all their r&p are GM ratios... but I DO have an 8.75 in 3.36 out of a /6 with 4 speed and towing package.
I can't find any info on the correct timing, idle speed, spark plugs, PCV valve, etc.
There isn't any CARB emission info on the air cleaner either.
Can I run 0W10 oil in this engine? Jiffy Lube told me they don't even have a listing for an oil filter.
And this car idles really rough...I only...
Found nine cans of the old EOS additive at a rummage sale many years ago. I also bought 75 quarts of SF rated multi grade oil at the same sale. Got a bit of 1970's dust on 'em.
The seller ran a small engine shop for many years.
I have only used one can so far as an assembly lube on a few race...
Okay...so I am getting closer to installing the '74 318 into my '65 Coronet.
I know Ma Mopar changed the lower hose from right to left in '70...

My radiator is...
Okay...I finally got my SBM oil pan issues resolved.
I'm keeping the 360 pan Speedway sent me for my 318. And I got TWO nice pans from Mancini.
Check out my latest YouTube video @ 413 Mopar @ jalopytechnology...
Like him or not Lake Speed Jr. knows lubrication. He helped Gibbs "Driven" brand become the gold standard for many race teams.
Viscosity breakdown is something I know about first hand. With 53 years of trucking under my belt I experienced oils going bad just by keeping track of oil consumption...
I ordered a new oil pan from Speedway Motors. Chrome isn't exactly my style but I was broke (still am!) and it was $58.
Came in a few days. Did my first YouTube video in it.
Put it back in the box.
This morning was installation time... It's for a 360 not a 318 like the box sez.
Costs $10 to...
Still plans on using those Speedmaster heads...
