I know Phoenix has good stuff but I'm on a tight budget for my current resto - I see less expensive stripes/kits ( Ebay) out there that are the (same ?) 3M vinyl, same warranty, etc. Any body have experience with the products ? I know there are a few members of Mopar sites that do the graphics...
73 Roadrunner - I've had columns apart for detailing, and have destroyed a few ignition switches on locked columns (don't ask). My switch feels like it's about to go - often takes alot of wiggling to get it through the motions - are they tough to replace ? Any tips or links ?
Suspension this time - I don't have the time at this point to rebuild the full front end - but it looks like while the engine is out is the time to do the upper A arm bushings - can I do these without removing the entire control arm (as in separating ball joints, etc) - also plan to do the K...
I can see multiple ways to release the trans, and all would work fine, but what is preferred (keep in mind my full exhaust is intact so I'd like to leave the crossmember attached to the body if possible ? The single bolt (blue arrow) seems like the trick but may be tough to line up when...
I know there are variables - but any of you that have "been there, done that" - can you give me an estimated base quantity for an overall paint job of a primed 68-70 B body - and 3 or so coats of clear ? Thanks.
Having trouble finding the hose for some reason - none pictured look like mine (p/n 2891421) - 73 RR w/small block and Saginaw. Maybe there's another that'll work and I can bend ? The one pictured is on Ebrag for 90.00 - no way Jose (get it, Jose, hose ?) :icon_wink:.
73 Roadrunner - both Saginaws but reservoirs are different - are either correct ? Both styles come up when doing part search, mine is like the one on the right but when ordered, I got the style on the left .....
73 Roadrunner - 340. I keep bringing up 2 different styles doing parts search, is either one correct ? Saginaw or Federal ? I have a federal, currently. Both styles come up on different sites.
Not sure what happened - I removed the column to paint - put it back in and got a funky issue. Turn key and get a "click" - but not much else. Battery is strong and engine tuns over great when arced across at relay - where should I look first ? Red and yellow (ignition) wires have both been...
Had to replace due to the obvious - and not a cheap part (had to go with Mitchell as he was the only place I could find one - painful) Anyway, I know these were used on some earlier B's and C's - my question is : what is the purpose of the male "keyed" portion of the casting as I see nothing in...
