Both the lower door hinges on my 70 RR have cracks on the same place at the hinge spring hole (circled in each photo). The hinges appear to be in good condition, can i just weld up the cracks after rebuilding them or should they be replaced? thanks, J

did a search, but couldn't find anything on trunk lid repair. has anyone been successful in repairing a trunk lid with this type of damage? these screen shots are not from my trunk lid, but my 70 RR lid has similar damage though not nearly as bad. thanks Joe
