Ok , I'm adding power steering to my car, trying to install my pump and I can't figure out why the nut and washer will not fit on the one stud on the back of the pump. One stud is 1/2 long and the other is 3/4. So the guy who rebuilt the pump, did he reverse that stud, or maybe someone cut it...
I am looking for this pressure fitting on top of the steering gear to connect to the high pressure hose. Mopar part # 2537386. I would like to find one locally if I can. I am looking for sizing it looks like 1/2-20 threads? the other is an inverted thread, what size is this same?

Before I tackle this tomorrow, I would like to know whether this can be done without lifting the engine up. Car is a 71 roadrunner, 440. Seems like the two bolts above the kframe might be hard to get to.
