Running a 572 hemi with an Indy intake and Dominator. Using the closest hole to the throttle shaft on the the carb I still can't get WOT. My cable is properly adjusted. Is there any way to get more travel? I need about an extra 1/4 inch.
I was wondering if someone could post some pics showing how they bolted the hood scoop down. What type of bolts or studs etc.. it would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.
Car is a '67 Coronet R/T, 727 , I converted to manual steering with the adapter. My issue is I seem to have play in the main steering shaft that's connected to the coupler (factory one) - this causes a rattle and knock
in the column and it drives me insane - not to mention there's something...
Are there different crank pulleys with different offsets or do they all have the same? Right now I have an ATI damper and it's pushing out the pulley 3/8 of an inch and I can't shim the upper pulley that much if I want to use a mechanical fan.
Engine from a 67 RT. It has a mild hydraulic cam and 30 over 10 to one forged pistons. It has 915 heads, HP manifolds and a stock style intake. The engine runs strong I just have no room for it once I do the HEMI swap. What would it worth?

So I'm trying to figure out what gearing I have in my 67 RT. I always thought they were 3.23's however I'm no longer sure. I have 25" tires and on the highway at 60 mph my tach reads about 2950. To me this looks like it has 3.55's. By the way I'm running a 727 transmission with a stock torque...
1967 R/T auto, mild 440 with Carter carb. 3.23 gears.
At WOT the engine starts to buck and cut out, surge and almost stall out. Car has new plugs, wires ignition and coil. Runs great cruising around.
I'm thinking it's leaning out like the carb bowls are running dry. It does have a new...
