Photo of Myrtle

Myrtle is a 1970 restomod Road Runner with a 440-6.

About this Mopar:

Year
1970
Make
Plymouth
Model
Road Runner
She was bought off of eBay from Salt Lake city about 4 years ago. Originally a 383 was installed. She has a 4-speed but little else. Very drivable but the engine smokes a bit and cylinder pressures are a little low. I plan on restoring her with more mods including a rebuilt or crate engine and a 5-speed. Need that OD for highway driving. To make her summer friendly I will add: tinted windows, A/C. Power steering will be appreciated so that my Sis can park her. The interior, I will do myself.
I have wanted a 440-6 Road Runner for decades, and now have a big, new, garage for her and her cousin.
Don't be mad, but she is a 1972 Mach I. Also blue (Grabber). She is undergoing a "frame" off restoration and will be very tame.

Comments

I am working on my '70 Roadrunner but I had to take a month off to work on my solar system which I installed myself in my back yard. Running my compressor so much is raising my electric bills to over $415.00 per month which is hurting my pocket book. I just bought a fiberglass hood so I will probably sell my air grabber hood. I cannot wait until I can get back to working on my Road Runner as I have tons of work to do.
