My new baby, 1966 Charger

About this Mopar:

So excited to bring this home to my garage! 1966 Charger, matching numbers, all original/unrestored 383 engine, automatic transmission, 79xxx original miles. 1 paint job and new carpet in the 80's, otherwise she is exactly as she was born. I'm looking forward to a few projects to make this baby even more awesome.

very cool, do you know where to get any good used parts for the same car? i am doing a restomod, i have some used parts also

Unfortunately, I do not, and am struggling myself. Posting on the forum here landed me an original fan shroud I was looking for. Currently I am seeking a working replacement for the toggle switch for the headlight override switch. Also I think once I get the electronics of the headlamps worked out, I'm going to need one of the headlight motors rebuilt or replaced.

So that's what mine is supposed to look like! Jim here, just joined. Have a '66 also, Red w blk int, 383 4v auto that grandma didn't know where the right side of the car was at times. I see from the photos that you're headlights show. Have you done the motors or found someone that can? I will need mine done and am searching... Jim @ Gear Head Inn in the Smoky Mtn.

My hideaways do not hide currently. I do turn them by hand by loosening the screws just inside the grill. Finding original relays is pretty much impossible. I have a friend that is supposedly building me a set of replacement relays. I'm still waiting... And I think I'll need at least one, if not both of the motors rebuilt as well once I actually get power to them.
