1977 Chrysler Cordoba

400 cid, Column shift with Hounds Tooth interior and 89K miles from Denver, CO. A/C works as does the Cruise Control. Rear ratio unknown for now.

About this Mopar:

Bought it at auction in Denver, CO. sight unseen and over the phone. Took a big chance but the pictures tell all that I wanted to know. I was looking for a Big Block Mopar coupe B-Body. Since it is a 1977, it is considered a classic here in North Carolina and that gives me a lot of latitude as far as emissions. I haven't determine what upgrades to do if any as this is a great example of what a Chrysler Cordoba in 1977 represents. This car is completely unaltered from the assembly line....

I would like to replace the Lean-Burn but again... should I?

Gate looking car. A survivor for sure. I would not change a thing. If you want to Trick out a car would find one in not so good of shape then build it like you want it. While working on the better then you would have a good one to drive. Once again grate looking car.

"This car is completely unaltered from the assembly line..."

These are the best cars to buy. Dont need to worry about potential foolish repairs or restoration work.
Original cars are honest cars. :)

Nice car! I wouldn't change it unless it failed if it were me. I do question the dual exhaust though. In 1976, I ordered a new Charger SE with a 400 engine. I wanted dual exhaust but was told it wasn't available in 76. I had to have it installed at a muffler shop.

Nice car, brings back memories, I had a 79 with a 360, rewired to get remove of the lean burn system and also changed the tranny so I would not have the lock-up torque converter, it was fairly quick back in the day.

Nice Cordoba, do what you want to the car - it's yours and you
can do what you feel is right. Thanks for another Mopar back
on the road. Mike

Very Nice !! I just got one of these also last summer. The more I work on it and the longer I have it the more I fall in love with it. congratulations on yours !

nice car, love the interior. Did these cars come with dual converters when dual exhaust installed or wasn't dual exhaust an option?
