“ Gimmie A BRAKE …… NEW FROM JEGS !

The previous owner of my car converted the front drums over to disc and installed the incorrect style booster (not the bendix).

As my car has the purple cam it's really cammy and l had to install a vacuum pump as I wasn't producing enough vacuum.

I wonder if switching over to the bendix booster would improve my braking.

You will need a dual diaphragm if you are not pulling enough vacuum. Better off going with manual or hydraulic brakes.

All you Chevy and Ford lovers probably love it. Right in the same class as you so called Mopar guys using Chevy Cowl hoods, Chevy chin spoilers, Ferd 9”, Ferd Pinto front suspension and a few running them GM transmissions

I've been using drum brakes for years....even had 4 wheels 11" drums on a 68 roadrunner running 10.60's and they did fine even on an old track that had a fairly short shut down. Yeah, they usually take a bit more maintenance but that was never a problem.
