WTB 1962 - 1963 8-3/4" rear wanted

I'm looking for an 8-3/4" rear from a 1962 to 1963 b body. A chart on the A-bodies site shows it to be 58-1/2" drum to drum. If this is the case, it will solve my wheel fitment issues. If you have one for sale within approximately three hours of Watsontown, PA, please let me know.

Just remember the spring pads not right for an A body and the axles are not same as 65 and up.

I have a housing out of my 64 Plymouth it measures 53 1/8 from end of housing to end of housing with a back brace

If that 64 hasn't been cut, it's the widest rear end that Chrysler made.. for a B body.

I believe E bodies could be 56 or 58 inches wide

No 62 plus drum to drum 65 to 67 B body are the narrowest besides A bodies.

I know you want one relatively close to you. But there is a beautifully detailed complete axle assembly from a 63 Polara with tapered axles with a detailed painted carrier and black housing in Littleton, Colorado Facebook. (a must see) 8 3/4 3:23 sure grip new seals and good brakes with drums. Measures 58.5 center to center, and spring perch center to center 43" if this helps you. A pretty nice pit free axle assembly as it appears from a western vehicle ready to bolt in. Just thought I would help and mention it. Looks to be a very nice unit.
