Greetings,

how do you remove the window handles? Also, is this a printing error from Classic Industries? There is no way the pictured ones would work on a 1962 having a bolt through the center. Any suggestions?

THANKS!

There is a clip look on you tube under 62 Chrysler. There is a tool for those clips.

You have a '62 and haven't seen my build thread?

Not your normal c-clips like on the newer cars.

Pry back and use a screwdriver to press the clip sideways to release the square clip from its groove in the shaft.

You can also use a pick to pull the clip to the opposite side to release.

This is how they look. Every handle is made the same so the spring is released only in one direction.

Steel a kitchen knife from the drawer, bend the very tip at a 90* angle.

Guys who have the proper tool for this process for sale think they are worth a fortune

Thanks for posting that! not what i expected (thought it would be more like a GM C-clip thing) glad i didn't try to get mine off yet.

Like stated, they do have a tool for these but once you figure out how the clip works it's easy peasy just to use a pick/awe or screwdriver.
