Need 1963 big block 727 kick down transmission lever for push button trans . Just need the lever on the trans. only. Thanks

Check out what A&A Transmission has to offer, or call Rick there. I'm sure he can hook you up...

Any KD lever that's long enough will work. Drill the linkage attachment hole where necessary and chop off the rest. All you need is the center to center distance for the 63 lever. I believe all the levers have the same clamp hole orientation but, someone correct me if I'm wrong.

The transmission I have didn't come with one . Didn't know if others would work. Going to use Lokar kick down kit . Thanks

If you're still looking, I believe this is what you need. Came off a 63 Plymouth. Your choice certainly, but for what it's worth I bought a car a few years back with the Lokar kick down kit and absolutely hate it.

Here is a pic of the KD arm in my 64 BB wagon. The arm is pretty much straight.
I too have the Lokar Cable, but it never really shifted correctly. The 2/3 shift would often be too late. When granny driving, I would have to let up on the gas to get it to shift in to 3rd.

After reading a lot about Lokar KD cable issues. I finally did something about. I removed the arm and drilled a new hole about 3/4 closer to the pivot point. Moved the post to that new hole and added a return spring. I reset up the cable adjustments and what a difference.
The trans. up shifts as it should. I'm into 3rd by 25 mph when granny driving.
