1964 Belvedere 426 Commando 4 speed project car. Rust free Calif car
documented by Chrysler Historical as sold new from Grant Motor Co,
Santa Cruz, CA vets day (11/11/63). Orig red/ white top/ red interior
radio delete & only option was a heater & 7.50x 14 tires.
Floors, trunk & underside are nice & rust free. Only bad is it was hit
in driver's rear tail panel and amateur repair meeds to be done right. (photo in 2nd pic). I have the needed trunk gutter piece & extra panel from a 64. Battery is in trunk.
Has new built & dyno'd 66 440 HP w/ all new parts: SRP,Eagle rods, MP forged crank, new Eddy RPM, 1.7 source roller rockers, fresh 906's, 8qt pan, etc, etc. Motor is complete carb to headers & has new clutch. Nice 69 833 4 spd trans & 8.75 rear end.
We only spent enough time on the dyno to break in the cam & do one pull, so I'm sure there's more torque & hp in it. It made 440 hp & 470 torque.
Car has orig bench seats & coronet 500 door panels which SMS can use as
cores for making new panels. Has nice back seat & correct front bench that needs to be restored. Correct seat belts included.
Trim & glass are nice. PM me for pics & info. Price lowered to $8500.
