Bought this few weeks ago - clean and original - I am the third owner. Will be starting on it over the winter. Any input would be appreciated as i want to ensure its all done correctly!! Will be updating once started - now getting parts done (door panels / rechrome bumper)

Chrysler should have promoted the 426 Street Wedge package more. These cars could put a hurtin' on a GTO. Pontiac sold the sizzle and Mopar sold the steak.
 
Nice find. Our '64 is in far worse condition than yours. Fred Flintstone would be scared to drive ours.
lol - Well, no rust through but it was taken apart and boxed/bagged 2000 years ago - tape fell off, writing worn off, etc. Trying to get through all the parts to see what may be missing but it seems (luckily) everything is there!
 
Look's solid has the correct air cleaner has small block radiator should have 11 inch brakes and front sway bar. Take care of hood lip molding and headlight surrounds hard to get. Good luck with the project. I just sold a 64 Dodge streetwedge.
 
You'll need alot of zip lock bags and a marker. Nice ride You'll going to love when its done.
 
Here's one I did up. Solid Georgia car, but it needed everything refreshed. Under the ugly green paint job it had, was the original Anniversary Gold. Originally a 383 2-barrel, I built a 426 Street Wedge for it with '62 Chrysler 300 intake and carbs. I no longer have it.

I've sine done several upgrades, which include, steering box upgrade (Borgenson), dash swap to 64 Plymouth - (because I like this look better - see before and after pics), addition of rear sway bar, and a few other changes. It's scheduled for a super stock hood scoop and repaint this winter. Enjoy your project!

Radiator - appears to have blown the cap at some point. Has rust on the cowl but otherwise solid. Like to jump into this now but.....3 in collage with one playing football so Ill be spending weekends at his games.

Super nice car!! That's labor of love!! I dont do body work - but I can scrape/prep - removed (and bag/tag) parts!! Another Ontario Polara convertible!!
 
What's your plans for the refurb? The paint and body don't look terrible at all. I can see going through the mechanicals, making sure the floor is solid, doing the top and interior and driving that for awhile with the exterior paint the way it is.

Starting with getting parts needed - sending out door panels, pulling motor to go through it. There is rust in the cowl area and a spot in the trunk pan. No rust otherwise. My plan is to strip car and get body ready for rust repair. I cant do welding at the level it needs to be done so I figured to get it ready - be about a year out as everyone is full/busy - get parts done (re chrome bumpers, trim done, etc). Galens is doing another fender tag once my IBM card is done. This is supposed to be 1 of 1 in black on black with the 426?? That was according to the man that passed away who restored Mopars
