We just picked this up over the weekend.
Looks like mostly original paint. Was a 6 cyl 3 speed manual. Minimal rust. Radio delete car.
I know a Max Wedge didn’t get put in 1965, but I can’t afford the Hemi stuff.
So it’s going Max Wedge 4 speed

Recharger. I was extremely lucky to end up with this car. When it showed up on Marketplace I didn’t wait because I knew it would not be around long.
You are 2 steps ahead of folks that don’t have one. I would not kick yours out of my garage. Just take your time and enjoy the build.

I like that the side trim is still on the car, I’ve got the pieces for mine but the holes had already been welded when I got the car.
This was originally a 6 cyl. 3 spd, now has a stroked B engine and a 5 spd.

For me the trim makes it look longer, two tone does it also
