Nice Coronet, and welcome to the site.
But FWIW I can't believe your car came from the factory with that half vinyl roof. In your second image look at the gap between the roof (painted section) and the trim. And the misfit to the left just up from the drip rail. Not a good fit. Not a factory job IMO.

1966 new one owner car.Car has been repainted.I did see they did have a code V20 for halo or partial top for that year.I have mailed in to Chrysler historical for the original build sheet to see if they ca shed some light on it.

The letter/number coding combination I.e. V20 did not star until 1969 so that is not a valid code for 1966. A vinyl top would be coded on the fender tag.

As much as we all want to find unique or special items about our cars, there is no historical reference to a halo top on a 1966 car. This type of post factory add on was very common.
