Looking this 1966 Coronet 500 (not R/T) on line. Says it has the original 440 engine rebuilt. But, the block is painted red not blue. And this dual snorkle air cleaner looks not correct with the unequal snorkle lengths. Also thought it should be black. Also to me the radiator inlet is also wrong, should be off to the passenger side? What say the experts here?

Air cleaner is totally wrong. I'd take anything the seller says with an grain of sale. Might not even be a 440.

That air cleaner is a 74 (maybe later also) 440 piece. Nothing wrong with it but far from original. People do crazy things like painting the block engine color (or whatever paint they have lying around.
If you can't see it in person you are leaving a lot to chance IMO.

VIN will be dead giveaway that it's not the original motor..

318 poly's that came that year were red, so when it got put in whoever did it probably just followed that scheme if that's what it came with.

Since it's got the Barrett watermark on picture, see if you can find it in auction results if it sold, that may give more info about it.

First of all, NO motor in a 1966 model year car is going to look that good unless someones been messing with it. Thats why you go look at it loaded with info (or a friend who knows) to figure out whats really there. And whats a 66 RT??
Looks like the brakes have been worked on too.....most '66s had the single pot master unless upgrades have been done.
