It is a 1968 model year hemi. The last eight digits of the cars V.I.N start with 8G. 8= 1968, G = St. Louis assembly plant. WT stands for water test, not warranty. Just for your info.

Thanks for that info! Now that I look thru old notes I found the numbers stamped on the bottom of the oil pan rail. 9/22/67

It seems the actual build date was sept. 27 1967, according to the 10000 day calendar date 2252. There is probably a D stamped in there somewhere to indicate 1968 model year.
