I have a 66 sattelite 2 door hardtop that I am looking to buy some wheels for at an affordable price, but I want a relatively well built wheel at the same time. I'm mostly sold on the polished aluminum torq thrust II's, but I am still open to other wheels specifically the magnums that were on the car when I bought them. It would be greatly appreciated if you could give your feedback and pictures with your wheels. (Preferably torq thrusts) thank you.

Here's mine. 15x7 on the back and 15x6 on the front.

I've always thought Magnums suit these cars more than anything else.
Mine on 14's

What size are those BFGs in the first photo? Also, do you know the back space on those 15x7 torque thrusts?
Tires all the way around are 245-60-15. And to big IMO for how low the car sits. especially the fronts. They would rub pretty good on full turns
rears would rub up in the wheelhouse on hard bumps

I've since downsize the fronts to a 215-65-15 and no more issues.
Rears I've added coil over shocks to aleviate with the jounce and rebound bumps

Wheel backspace, I have no idea.

Would love to see some Keystone Classics on one of these.

Took the rear wheels off the other day on my '67 GTX and even with puny 215/70/15's I needed a shoe horn to get them off.

Miss my 295/50's I was able to have on my 69 Charger with room to spare!

Those look great! What are the specs on both those combos? (Tire size, backspacing etc)
