what are the differences? Looking for front end parts for my II and curious if they swap between the two?

Yes, everything is the same as far as suspension parts go. Belvedere I came as a 2 door post or a 4 door low option car. Belvedere II came as a 2 door hardtop or a 4 door med. option car. Some body parts between I & II will interchange, some will not.

Thanks I should have clarified, I need front sheet metal. Grill, valance, bumper, bumper brackets, and maybe the hood latch support that runs horizontally.

Thanks for the link, some good info there.

gahi, All sheet metal is the same from my experience.. some trim parts may be different - but that's it..
Hope that helps

yup, it does. Thanks. Now to find a donor car...

All front sheet metal is the same, so is the quarters and decklid. NOT the doors or the roof, they will not interchange. And DO NOT let somebody tell you 1966 is the same. TRUST ME, I know.

The I is usually a sedan and yes, the roof is different between the sedans and hardtops. Also, all the glass is different between the two styles. I've never seen a Belvedere I as a 4 door and have never seed a II as a 2 dr sedan....but according to this site, you could get a I as a 4 dr but you couldn't get a II as a 2dr sedan. http://www.oldride.com/library/1966_plymouth_belvedere.html
