1967 charger quarter window car whiskers/ felts

hi, I am having trouble finding the staple holes in metal of the quarter window opening for the cat whiskers. any thoughts?

Others have posted that they have either riveted or screwed on their interior felts with small screws. I have yet to see a post from anyone who has re-stapled them on.

thks , the thread and pics are great. this may sound stupid , but what does the inside felt attach to??

sorry I didn't not attach pic. the metal inside quarter panel or the inside quarter panel does not have any staple holes in them to show where the old window felt was attached.
