I have a 1967 Charger and the drivers side turn signal stays on, all the time. I have replaced a front wiring harness and the "pigtail" on the light and it seemed to work for a while. It is now back on, has anybody come across this before or have any suggestions.

Thanks.

dont know if it could be your problem or not but i had a bad blinker cam (located under the stearing wheel) that would only allow one brake light to work at a time which ever way i turned the blinker would dictate what brake light would work

Turn Signal switch was replaced as well. Thanks for the suggestions. I think I need a full day without distractions to track it down..

Exactly which light is on? Front grille light? Dash light? rear turn lights?

Light issue

Its the Drivers side front turn signal light in the grill thats on.

Turn signal

What happens when you put on the passenger turn signal? Doe's the drivers side come on when you turn the key on or is it on "all the time" as you said.
Where is Burlington? I will look at the wiring diagram to see what may be your problem. Please describe all conditions, whats on, light stays on when brakes applied etc.

Turn Signal

With the ignition on or off the front drivers side parking light remains on, the dash light also remains on. If the passenger side signal is used the grill signal indicator light and rear lights functions fine and the passenger side dash light works as normal.. The drivers side dash light as well as the parking light remain on.

If the drivers side turn signal is used the drivers side parking light remains on and the indicator light on the dash remains lit. The rear light does not come on..

It has me scratching my head. Thanks for the help..

Turn Signal Light

Oh, forgot.... Burlington is west of Toronto Ontario near Hamilton Ontario

Couple of suggestions here...unplug the turn switch connector under the column and see what happens. You won't have any turn signals, but see if front park light goes out

You can also unplug the tail light harness (behind the kick panel) and see what happens. Then do the headlight harness. That might help to locate your short.
