Does anyone have a top windshield trim piece in good shape for a 1967 Coronet 500? I sent all of my trim out for polishing 5 years ago and what was returned to me wasn't the original piece I sent. The car has been in paint shop jail for all this time so it was just discovered today. I called the polisher but he doesn't have another or any recollection of replacing the part .

Help please!!!

Is your car a 2 door or a 4 door? The trim is shorter for a 4 door because the windshield is taller and the sides run up at an angle to make the top trim shorter on a 4 door.

Then made seven thousand 1967 coronet 500 4 doors.

Mine is a 2 door. All I need is the top piece, so if that is the same I would be good. If anyone with a wagon could measure theirs that would be helpful.

well, the discussion has not focused on the fact that the 500 should have a chromed piece, vs a painted one for lower priced models.

You are talking about the top trim section?

So now the "assumption" that it was the inside piece ( commonly rusted) comes to bear.
If outside, yes it is SS.
Seriously, what assumption was there that windshield trim he SENT OUT FOR POLISHING was the painted upper and plastic inside A pillar side trim?

Make sure you mark it "Made in the USA" if you try to ship it.... only hope you wont' get screwed for back costs.
Thanks. I've sent a few items. Only one was hit with tarriffs and I think it was because the clerk didn't mark it as classic car parts. But from what I've heard it's very hit and miss.
