I have a nice solid 67 coronet R/T for sale. Originally it was a PP1 red with a black vinyl top, 440 auto on the coulmn with bucket seats.
The body is very good condition not to have had any type of restoration work. It only has a few places of rust through mostly at the tail light panel area. One place is at the rear or the quarter panel on the LT side where it meets up with the tail light panel. It also has some rust in the rear panel by the rear bumper, and one place in the front RT inner door jamb. Looks like something has gotten trapped inside the A piller and coused it to rust. It does have some dent and dings as most 46 year old cars do. It also has places where the panit is worn through with surface rust.
The floor pans are perfect, the trunk pan is very good, the quarters are nice. The car still retains 95% of the original paint. I really see no major panel replacement on the car.
The RT rear lower quarter looks to have been repainted in time as well as the LT lower front fedner area. The hood has been replaced due to damage with a nice rust free hood. The car has the original fender tag, certi-card, and I have the chrysler historical paper work. Car was originally sold in the Daytona Beach area. It had been drag raced until the late 70's when the guy I bought it from bought it. The car had been blown up and the engine and trans pulled at that time. They did not cut up the car any when drag racing it, but they have taken vise grips and flattened out the quarter panel wheel lips , but i believe that can be repaired. The current 8 3/4 rear under the car as best I can tell is about a 4.56 gear with a 741 case suregrip.
Car has been stored inside since 1979 or 1980 and off of the road. It is showing 80,000 original miles.
I bought it with no motor or trans, but have collected several parts for it such as a .030 67 HP 440 block, a 67 HP 727 trans, the original radiator, fan shroud, drive shaft, cross member, and other minor parts.
The car does still have the original hood louver/scoop. I have 285 pictures on a photobucket account that are listed newest to oldest to help show the car and the parts. http://s298.photobucket.com/user/ma...3&page=1&_suid=137833542759505696453401554911
I have also put a set of centerline wheels on the car rears are 15x8 with good tires and the fronts are 15x4 with basically new tires. My intention was to get the car running as is and make a fun driver out of it. Otherwise it will need a complete restoration, but it is a good solid project. I am looking to get $6500.00 O.B.R.O. for the car and what parts that I have for it. I do have a clear TN title in my name
If you are interested please PM me here. I can give you any more information you might need. Thanks for the interest. Matt
