I need to remove the Charger emblem on the sail panels. I have unscrewed the rear interior plastic sail panel and the rear plastic trim piece. What else do I need to remove to get the plastic sail panels out of the way to access the pins that hold the emblem on? Seats? Bottom frame? Thanks!

I would remove the inside quarter panel also and go from there. Plus, I would also remove the entire back strip below the rear window.. 4 screws along the top (1 on the back strip, 2 on the top and 1 on the forward strip) and loosen the sail panel light if needed. Think that might be it. Nope, check my pictures another screw hiding under the front, under the quarter side panel.

Do the rear seats need to be removed? What about the bottom metal floor section?

Think you can sneak around them. There is a screw on the rear curved part of the lower quarter panel along the seat. On my picture there is a little silver dot towards the bottom. If you cannot get the quarter panel out, the lower seat comes out fairly easy. There is another screw holding the seat on the underneath then they pull up and out. A wire bar on the back slides out of a metal strap slot.

You are very knowledgeable! I think your interior is the same color as mine, Copper, but my carpet is also Copper, not black. Thanks!

Basically it's " take the whole damn car apart" That's why they went to barrel clips.
Once you get everything apart, you might be able to just slide your arm behind the big panel. So you Don't have to pull it out

No luck. It looks like I have to take out the back floor. How does it come out? I already have the carpet installed over it. Thanks
The side panel slides up and out.
Can you just pull it away and get your hand in there

The only reason I need to remove them is the trunk area needs to be repainted. The entire car was painted recently. I have removed all trim except for these two emblems. Painter wants them removed. He said he could get paint on them.

How does the false floor come out?
There are screws in the back (trunk area) and screws/nuts/bolts along the front. Will also have to remove the rear seats probably to make it all easier. But I was able to remove and install the sail panels with this in place. Slid forward and out. Did you remove the quarter panel? And the side lights?

Regarding the side light: Do i only remove the lenses and chrome trim or the complete bezel that holds the bulb?

You do not need to remove the floor or the seats
Remove the trim around the rear window
Pop the trim up off the panel at the window
Remove the trim above the drivers window
Remove the arm rest and the window crank
Remove the front of the dome light
IF I remember correctly you have to remove the door sill
There is a tail off of the under window panel that has a screw in it
Remove this panel
now you should be able to remove the rear cargo panel (its 5 or 6 screws) and get access to the back of the Charger emblems

Dont forget to make new vapor barriers when you put it back together
