Hey Everyone,
Wanted to post an update as I am crossing a milestone in my Charger build. The car is currently stripped of all parts and is heading off to sandblasting in the coming days. I look forward to seeing what's instore for me with the body.
The glass came out in one piece thanks to a local OG, he got it out of there like a doctor. Did find some holes in the rear corners of the window frame.
The engine and trans are out and I am looking into 440 build options. All I know is I want this thing to thump with a big whiplash cam.
The suspension and steering is all out and I am debating on what to do with the OG pieces. I am 100% going full QA1 front and rear upgrades. The steering is going to be a massive issue and I will have to re-engineer / customize. I found a few companies that make late model RHD rack and pinion conversions that integrate with QA1s K-member. Or i figure out how to add electric power steering. Its going to be an issue for later.
Keep you all posted on what it looks like after blasting.
Thanks!
