Hello gang, I'm installing a new idler arm on my '68 Charger and have some questions. Do the 2 washers go on top & bottom of the sleeve joint inside of the k frame cradle? Pic attached to explain better. Are the washer centers supposed to go inside of the sleeves? Pic attached to explain better. I'm having trouble getting the idler arm positioned if the washers go inside. It's a Moog idler arm replacement #K7014.

Thanks

He makes a good point using the original bolt since the one that comes seems to have no hole for a cotter pin.

Thanks.

My '68 had the 2 washers as well as in the new idler arm kit. The original idler arm was removed before I bought the car and stored in a marked box with all of the original hardware including those 2 washers. And with the new idler arm from Moog comes with 2 exact same looking washers, I wonder why in this video there wasn't any washers installed?

The nut looks to be a friction locking nut, if so cotter pin not reqd.
