My Satellite has the sliding ash tray. I did not know it was fairly rare and only one year. Why was that? smokers couldn't hit the hole while driving? .................MO

funny.i think that they went away from that design because they were getting alot of complaints that the ashtray would pop open while driving

No, my 68 Date code A27 - BUILD DATE: October 27 does not have one. I do have the 3 digit Speedo though.
