1968 Charger Company Car

Yep.....one of the buddies I had through school dad owned a Plumbing shop with vans and such and low and behold Rodney shows up in a pretty green/white new Dodge window van....funny thing is his dad's shop van's were all red with no windows.....we all knew allready o'Rod had a silver spoon....but we did get to ride around in it that senior year !

As requested, a few photos of the Charger parked in 1975 by the original owner. Paint is mostly original but at some point the drivers side was repaired and the paint has peeled off. Interior is all original other than replacing carpet and installing a couple of small floor patches and a passengers front floor pan.

AC, AM FM, and sure grip.

Nice company car for 1968.

Plan to patch it up for now leaving as much original as possible. Motor and trans have both been rebuilt now using most of the original parts. Want it to be similar to what I could afford when I first joined the Navy and had a 68 Charger RT (paid $1400 for it.). BTW, I have those giant bumper guards removed. Guess the original owner used them while navigating DC traffic!

My second GTX came from the DC area, and got multiple new body parts as part of the process. Only rust repair it needed was on the driver side, which had never been hit.
