1968 Charger finally out of paint shop 18 months later

Series of events made it take so long

^^^ Both you guys are wrong :sideways tongue: My car took 3 years to get looking like that

A very nice looking paint job, I can't wait to see some progress on the assembly work :headbang:
Ok here is the story, car had new metal in 6 months, and was primed and ready for paint, that is when we had the drivetrain test fit, so I missed my window for the paint booth (this is a very busy paint shop) then my paint guy had a death in the family, and when he came back (3 months later) we could not get Dodge to give us the paint code for the 2014 Viper color (Redline Pearl) so I tried for another two months, and after giving up on Dodge, I started to look at other colors, wanted a deep Maroon, ut could find one I liked, and didn't want to go custom, since I would be driving this car a lot, well then Murphy's Law kicked in and my guy at the paint shop quit, and then was offered his job back two months later, and then..........another family death for him, Close family member, and he was not good, so on and so on, well I went back to my orig choice of this Hot Rod red color, FYI we are letting the car sit min my garage for 40 days to cure before we wet sand and buff.
