I took great photos of all the decals on my Coronet.... except for these two.... The one of the right is the coolant decal. I am at a loss as to what the one on the left is. I looked through Classic Industries offerings and there are a couple that are close, Hot Weather coolant and Battery Warning but the number of words on the last line do not match. Does anyone have a photo of what this decal is?

Thanks,
Jim

As I have been comparing decals it really appears this late 1968 car got a quite a few 1969 decals.

Jim- I think batt decal was drivers side of a/f decal. What about a/c charge decal?(p.231 in Classic) Or like you say the warm climate decal. Jeff

OldBee I found the original hi-res photo! That is a Thermostat and Mopar Coolant only sticker! And it is the only #$%^%$ decal I did not order! :BangHead:

Been racking my brain pan because I 'distinctly' remember a decal on mine too, but long gone. I do think you are correct. Hope you didn't lose too many brain cells figuring it out!

"High res"(?) ok ur the expert...

Top line clearly has "Thermostat" at the end of the line.
Second line has "Use Mopar antifreeze (mumble) type"
Third line "only. Protect radiator to -15F (mumble)
Forth line (mumble mumble)

If you have a lap top hold it sideways, these words will form if you look at it carefully. The number of words per line looks identical to that sticker.

Have you ever seen where the Battery Warning decal goes on any Coronet? My left fender was a OEM replacement so I am going to guess that is where it use to be.

Could it be like this one that's on my buddy's Chrysler 300?

Batt decal was on wider part of core support, driver's side of a/f decal for sure. I believe ur totally correct with the other 'coolant' decal.

Ok so the Chrysler 300 placed it in a different spot than what you have seen on the Coronets?

I never looked at 300's in the day,too big&slow. I'm going off my original owner& memory. It very well could have been but all I remember is the timing/emission decal being slightly to the rear of fender tag& not perfectly straight to anything.

Nope, not on mine at least.
