Regarding the front shocks, were they painted on top including the rubber grommet that goes through the shock tower, the same color as the car at the factory? My car has a black interior. What sheen of black paint should the metal part of the dash be? Thanks!

Shocks were black from factory, and grommets were not body color, installed after paint.

Dash paint was a suede finish. Flat with a mild texture/ roughness.

Factory dash paint is suede acrylic lacquer (slight texture). You can order factory type paints from TCP GLobal. link

You can look up the factory color in their color library: Link 2
