My 1968 Dodge Charger 318 originally came with manual brakes. I would like to convert it to power brakes. Has anyone done this before? Do any vendors sell the conversion kit (master cylinder, booster, portioning valve) or do I need to purchase all of the parts separately? Thanks!

Heck yeah. I did this in 2022.

Contact Doctor Diff. I bought the booster:

The manual brake and power brake systems have different firewall support plates....

The one on the left is for manual, the right one is specific for power brakes. The Power brakes use this linkage....

You can buy that new too. When you install it, do NOT fully tighten down the nuts or the brakes will not release, the pedal will stick to the floor.
The booster attaches directly to the firewall. ALL the linkage fits inside, under the dash.
I bought the whole setup from Doctor Diff. He sells good stuff at great prices but rarely ever includes decent instructions on anything.
Feel free to check back on this site to ask questions during the swap.
Cheers, Greg.

Dr Diff has everything you need and almost plug and play.
