This Charger was purchased from the original owner. It went through a partial restoration 25 years ago but was never finished so it has been in storage since. It has the 440 with the 727 auto w/console. Not a numbers matching but is a warranty block. The transmission is numbers matching. Has the 8 3/4 rear end with 411 gears. The paint was probably a 5 out of 10. The interior was never finished so I started breaking it down to give it a fresh start. The first 2 pictures are before I started to disassemble it. The body is in good shape. The chrome is really nice, just needs polishing. Bumpers are in great shape. It does have two new quarters. The seats need new foam. It needs a trunk pan and a partial driver's side floor pan. The wheels and tires are brand new. The engine was rebuilt before the owner passed and it seems to be solid. New brakes all around, front end rebuilt.I just do not have the patience to finish it. I have collected some new parts for the car that were missing. The interior has all been taken out to get ready for paint. PM me for any questions. I have more pictures available. I am open to trading. My interest are 1966-67 and 1970 Chevelle , 1966-67 Nova, 1967 GTX and 1960 to 1980 Chevy or Ford SB trucks.
Unfortunately there is no fender tag or build sheet, they were lost during the restoration. I do have a title that is in the daughters name.
If the ad is up......it's available. Will not answer to it.

Missing fender tag, no Build Sheet... 68.... Is it REALLY an R/T??? It has an R/T VIN, but was it born with that VIN? No way to tell..... 69 & newer the body numbers will match... 68? Nope...

Yeah, you'd really have to do an autopsy.

Looks like Trussville is in close proximity to the Barber Vintage Motorsports Museum.

Now one of you guys has an another excuse to go there.
:D

Decent car, reasonably priced in today's market but still way out of my budget. Those seat covers however need to be tightened up.
