Hello,
Looking at purchasing a 68 GTX- my understanding is that these all came with disc brakes
as standard equipment ( not sure about the power steering). Is my information incorrect?

Thanks,

Ian

No - incorrect. I've owned a 68 GTX for 43 years and was all original when purchased. It came with drum brakes all the way around. I'm just now converting to disc on the front and keeping the drums on the back. They didn't come with power steering either unless as an upgrade.

Gentlemen, thanks for the swift replies- it clears up some uncertainties about the vehicle.
FYI, attached is the build sheet for the vehicle- clearly specifies the power steering option.

Very cool, I've never seen one of those old invoices. Do you also have the original build or broadcast sheet?

The current owner does not have either and I have yet to look =)
The invoice does help a lot though in determining the build.

Power brakes, power steering both optional about the only thing not optional was the 440 you would get or you cold opt for 426 Hemi...

I found my broadcast sheet tucked in between the springs under the back seat bottom. I think that was a common place to put them from the factory. Who knows why.....

Very cool. I have my broadcast sheet but somewhat damaged, so don't know everything.
