Hi everyone,
Will, new member here and I want to show you my car, a 1968 GTX super track pak.
Although this term appeared in 1969, she has the same options ( factory options ) :
- 4 speed
- 3.54 Dana 60 sure grip rear end
- 26'' radiator
- front disc brakes AND power brakes ( for super.. track pak)
in rare combo red on red ( red matador red interior with burgundy metallic upper door)
many others options like full mouldings: body belt, drip rail, wide sill, wheel lip.
tach, passenger mirror, rear seat speakers.
everything is correct and conforms to the trim tag except the stripes, originally black BUT in white it's ok for me.
I am obsessed with the original and correct, and I have learned a lot from the books of david wise, especially . but I’m missing information and I’d like to know more about the engine. According to me the engine and the gearbox are not original, the engine is from 1969 and not HP
but the car was assembled on December 27, 1968, maybe have parts from 1969?
I also did not find the production number of 68 GTX in 4 speed, track pak or super TP.
I need expert mopar if you can teach me something, in any case here are photos, enjoy.
