1968 Plymouth GTX Trunk/Deck Lid Question

My Father and I are restoring a '68 GTX for fun. We are in the process of having some metal work done to it. During this process it has come up that we need a new deck lid. I have looked online and in some junk yards around the area to try and find a 68 lid, but to no avail. The junk yards I have visited use an old mopar cross reference book to tell me what cars have the same trunk lid. The books say that the 68 GTX, roadrunner, belvedere, and satellite deck lids will work from 2 doors and 4 doors, but not '69. I have looked at MyMopar in their online books for parts and it looks to be the same info. In my area there are some 69 trunks for sale cheap ($50 bucks for a 69 road runner and 69 satellite deck lid), but as far as I can tell they won't work for our car. I ask anyone that has had this same issue to please let me know. We have some time before we get to the exterior pieces, but it will be coming up here in the next couple of weeks. I know where there is a pretty decent 68' satellite deck lid at ! Not sure what kinda of money he wants for it but if your interested pm and I will try and get ahold of the guy that has it !

Yep, '68 only and it's rare to find one where the bottom lip is not all rotted out.

Will a 1969 hood work for a 1968? A guy here in town has a mint 69 satellite hood for only 100$.

I had a 69 hood on my 68 RR back in the 80's. No issue at all.

Yes, 68 only for the trunk lid and worse yet, it's 68 Plymouth only. Let me know if you still need a 68 GTX trunk lid. I have one with a little lip rust on the inside but totally useable. It also has the finish panel trim holes.
