Ok, so I posted a new thread in the "Welcome Wagon" forum and got great responses. I have a technical question so I think that this is the right forum, if not, my apologies. So I'm in the process of restoring my b body and the body is being done while we speak. Now, I am upgrading to the Mopar Performance electronic ignition system. A new wiring harness was purchased but I read somewhere that I might need to change the alternator? The car HAD points and the standard alternator but am I correct that I need to change? If so, what alternator do I need to order and where can I find one? Thanks for the help. I will post pics of the body, although it's just a shell in self etching primer soon!:headbang:

If you are not adding a lot of non-stock electrical the original alternator will work ok with the factor ecu up grade.

Your Alternator will not need an upgrade. If you do put in a bigger Alternator, you will need to consider some wiring upgrades with it. Such as the bulkhead connectors and Amp gauge. More current flow means trouble with overheated wires on a 40 year old system.
