Hi all - I got my new ANCO 41-03 wiper arm today. It came with a new knurled pivot (yeah!). I can see in the FSM or anywhere else I've looked how to get the old pivot off.

Anyone know how to do that so I can replace it? See pic.

Thanks!
Bob

I think you'll have to remove the thing.
It's crimped together so..

The whole pivot unit? Looking at the replacement knurled part, it seems like it might pull off. I want to know if it just pulls off before I try it and ruin something…thanks.

It doesn't just pull off. They were never meant to be serviceable.

Is the original pivot stripped out? If not, why would you want to replace it? If the wiper arm doesn't fit it the wrong part.

It’s in better shape than the original. I think it will still work. The inside of the old wiper arm is stripped.
