Just passing along...Not mine! https://portland.craigslist.org/mlt/cto/d/1969-plymouth-roadrunner-asix/6393470158.html This is a 1969 A12(real A12 not a clone) Plymouth Roadrunner. VIN RM21M9A285675. It is a 1 in 277 car. It has a 727 HD automatic console shift transmission and a Dana 60 rear end. It has a 440 six pack that is not complete or original to the car. What you see is what you get. It is however an E code HD block so it is still a 1969 block. All of the glass is in place and in tact and has bucket front seats. I don't have a rear seat. The car is/was from the factory an R4 red car. I have the fender tag and clear title in hand to release to the buyer. There is rust in the quarters and rockers and a little around the back window as well as surface rust shown in the pictures. It is my assessment that the quarters and kicks should be replaced or patched at a minimum. It may be rusty in other areas but it looks like the frames are fine. The car was a project when the previous owner got it and was a project when I got it from him. I don't have time for all of my projects so I am passing this one along. I am asking $35,000 but will entertain serious offers. I am not interested in trades at this time
I live in new England. you want to see rust. this car is a walk in the park. and only a handful care about the ##################s. its still an A12 car.
Because buying a restored non matching A12 car would cost you wayyyyy less than this one by the time you're done with it.
Who pays $3.55 a mile for shipping on an uncovered trailer? When I shipped my car a 4 years ago it was $.90 a mile for uncovered shipping.
The value of an A12 car is tied to it's originality, specifically to the drivetrain. The fact that this is a non-original engine trashes that value. It's like thinking a $100,000 diamond ring is still worth $100,000 with the diamond missing. No... it's just a ring. I'm sure someone will fool themselves into thinking they can buy this car, drop a fortune into restoring it, and brag about having an original A12 car, but in reality they really just have the equivalent of the ring mentioned earlier.
This is buying basically a VIN # & Fender tag a Dana-60 maybe a #'s matching core support & trunk surround for $35k another $50k-$70k + it will be a nice car again they're only original once not to hammer the org. messenger/poster thanks for sharing anyway
