Was there a 440 Sixpack available that wasn't A12 in '69?

Just wondering if this is the right air cleaner base for a 1969 Roadrunner 440 six pack with an air grabber? Stock style hood, not the fiberglass. It says for 1969 but I know there are a few different base styles.

I know it's probably not a real option, but looking for something for my application.

That air cleaner is for 1970-71 440 six pack cars with ram air.

It looks like the air grabber rubber seal is the same from 1969-1972, so considering that, I think that implies the shape of the air cleaner base, as long as it is for an air grabber, SHOULD work. I have seen a few photos of 1969 RR/GTXs with a 440-6 and air grabber on the stock hood, so I know its been done. Classic Industries says its for a 1969.

It should work.... if the air grabber is the same from a 69 hood to a 70 hood.
If they are different.....who knows?
There certainly was no such thing as a 69 air grabber/six pack combo built by mopar.

It seems reasonably priced, IF it does what you want.
Save the receipt, pay with a credit card. And save the box it comes in.

I used a '70 air cleaner with a 6pak on my '69 r/ t n96 hood for decades. You will need a '70 passenger side valve cover to hook up the breather and hose.

It will work, this is my 68

Exactly what I was looking to do. Did you have to modify anything? What type of air cleaner base?
I have a 440 Six Barrel base, on a 440 engine. You will have to install a 3 speed wiper motor so that the air cleaner will clear. The 2 speed motor sticks out too far and the air cleaner will hit it. Other than that no other mods were needed.

Of course, I have a three speed motor and switch ready. I'm getting an engine built now so I was prepping everything else and don't want to find something won't work down the road.

If you want your wipers to work you have to change the linkage too. Good luck finding the arm thingy. I can’t remember what it is called but very difficult to locate.
