1969 Charger R/T SE

Hello guys and girls this is my 69 rt se charger build i picked this up locally in Australia.It was a one owner numbers matching car the guy that purchased it from the USA had stripped it down to start a full restoration but as we all know it don't always go that smoothly.So i picked it up as a project car after a 10hr road trip she's finally home & so the story begins

underside all cleaned and primed ready for paint

diff pulled down stripped down center removed and painted .then a new eaton tru trac LSD center put in with new bearings and brakes & every other possible part replaced

brakes pulled down calipers rebuilt new bearings seals rubbers done painted to replicate as close as possible to original according to my vision

number matching 440 magnum HP engine stripped down & sent of to the mechanic to rebuild it's no race engine by any means just a nice freshen up with a couple of steps up from standard cam balanced and set up for unleaded gas .transmission got the same treatment just a freshen up with a stage 2 trick kit and convertor stepped up to suit cam .the k frame was cleaned up and 2pk paint the all bushes replaced along with all nos ball joints and tie rod ends nothing missed then put together on a cradle ready for assembly.

A/C unit rebuilt including the under dash box and i mean rebuilt not just painted i've replaced just about every component with NOS parts pistons crank seals bearings oil pump etc etc would have been easier and cheap to go after market but hey

Road & track special edition came with leather 6 way adjustable seat ,a/c, power steering disc brakes, tinted windows, electric windows ,rear window demister, light package, seal panel chrome molds,larger front bumperettes, R/T & SE badges,rear speakers and fader,map light and i'm sure there is more options which i mentioned which only came on a SE but some also came with the RTpackage

Vinyl top done as well as the tail stripe
